Are we doomed? Is the Narrative so all-powerful that it cannot be defeated?
Or is there still hope?
Recently, I was feeling glum. The Narrative of lies being taught to young people by the Woke Left is so all-pervasive, that I could not imagine how it could be defeated. I was sitting there, fearing a generation or two would just be lost, when suddenly, I saw the whole matter in a different light.
In John 8:44, Jesus says:
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And I suddenly thought…THAT’S what the Narrative is!
It’s the Devil.
Or maybe it would be more correct to say: the lie IS the Devil.
And this cheered me immensely.
Why was I cheered?
Because material lies have to be fought one at a time, ripping up each lie and replacing it with truth, little by little over a long time.
But a demon, a supernatural spirit that holds the eyes of men? Such a thing can be vanquished by God in an instant. I’ve seen people take years to wake up from lies. But I have also seen them wake up in an instant, suddenly realize that a whole network of beliefs are false and walk awaym.
But this was only the first half of my recent realization.
Just a few days ago, I was thinking about 2 Corinthians 11:14:
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
And I suddenly thought. THAT’S IT!
That is exactly what we are seeing!
Why is the Narrative so powerful? Why does it have such a hold over the minds of so many people?
Because the lies come in the form of an “angel of light.”
They are ugly, terrible things masquerading in the form of something good and beautiful that every man, woman, and child desires.
Communism? Envy and murder. It has been seen over and over again.
So why is it so enticing?
Because it presents itself in the form of an angel of light…kindness to your neighbor, sharing, everyone having enough, not having to work so hard. Sounds good, right?
Underneath, like the whitewashed tombs Jesus speaks of in Matthew 23:27. is all the murder, mayhem, tyranny, starvation, desolation, and more that real Communism brings.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
But because it presents itself as the angel message of “good for all,” it brainwashes many.
Or raising Minimum Wage to ridiculous heights. Anyone who doubts that this will create inflation, destroy companies, reduce jobs, and price grandmas, mothers, teens, and other such workers out of the market need only look at the West Coast.
And yet, this demon-lie continues to snare many because it dresses up as an angel of light: being kind to poor workers and having more buying power.
A higher wage means more buying power…right?
Or Illegal Immigration—flooding towns unable to support them with people not prepared to join into American life, bringing in criminals who rape and kill, attempting to steal elections by overwhelming citizens. (The number of illegals who have come in in the last few years is more than the population of some states.)
How do you get hard-working Americans, who used to be strongly against this, to sign on?
Dress up the horror and overcrowding as an angel of light.
Say that it is about kindness, about not being a racist—that’s a good thing, right? Tolerance towards all? Make it look pretty, so that those who defend it feel they are supporting something virtuous and generous.
Or pretending that men can actually become women. Deceive the populous by dressing this abominable idea, some harmful to children, up as an angel of light. Make it about fairness and tolerance and let people think that they are not being prejudice, when really they are just erasing their reason.
Or Affirmative Action/DEI—a process that rewards people for shallow, artificial attributes, not for merit, that not only harms those who are promoted to jobs they cannot do and those who rely on the work done by these people but also harms most of all those in the protected group who are actually qualified, who are now dismissed as “DEI hires,” their abilities and hard work maligned.
So why does anyone support it?
Because they are enamored of the glorious “angel of light” of equality and “fairness” and supporting those they perceive as their inferiors, who cannot get by without their generous help.
One could go on and on.
The whole reason it is so hard to talk someone who is under the spell of the Narrative into seeing the truth is because they are looking at something they think is an angel of light.
Until they see the rotten corpses beneath the pretty white wash, they will not budge from their position supporting what they think it virtuous and good.
But…
If the Narrative is a maligning spirit, and St. Michael defeats and dispels it, people’s eyes could be opened in an instant…which one sees now occasionally online in Walkaway videos and the like.
So join me and let us pray:
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
I absolutely believe that m6usk is worth every single penny. He's bringing that value to his company. If he was not there ,they would not be making the tremendous amount of money of which he's only getting a small amount.
Your theory of where wealth comes from is the same one I had when I was young. But that's not how wealth actually works.
The main problem is that Satan wants people to believe in easy problems. Chants. Slogans.
Raising minimum wage would work.... If you also took away company's pricing power, and reduced margins from all time highs, so that the difference between what the minimum wage employee made, the CEO, and the stock holder, would collapse to the normal amount. This isn't an easy solution, and takes pain, and would have to be legislated carefully.
The same with immigration and repatriation. Even just, "They have to go back!" is not an easy solution. It would take pain, and has to be done carefully, or you risk cartel influence, ripping apart families, and getting international countries involved. Ruining the economy. You'd crash the housing market, and up inflation on food. Do you subsidize agriculture to help them with wages or margins? How about the people paying at the store? We need intelligent legislatures. Not ones that care only about pocketbooks, or what Satan whispers in their ears.
But, our Lord Jesus Christ will win, whether the problems are solved or not. We offer up our pains and miseries, knowing they're for God's glory. And we pray for those that hate us, or do evil in ignorance, meaning to do good, but are simply dumb.
