Gypsie Princess Effie's Diary: Entry Twenty — In Which Effie Gets More Jewelry

Dear Diary,
The Fox got me a new jewel today! It is a beautiful large purple gem called the Kadder star. I think the name is silly because it is my family's heirloom. You think it would be named the Effie Star, or maybe the Prometheus Star, or how about the Iapetus Star. No, instead it is named after people who are a bunch of jerks.
I made a necklace out of the stone and proudly wore it. I will never take it off. The Fox must really love me. He gets me the prettiest gifts. Nothing tells a girl she is loved more than jewelry and dresses. I am glad that the person still in the running to marry me is rich.
Everybody stared at my cleavage today, too. I don't mind people taking a glance, after all I am pretty and dress so people can appreciate my gifts, but staring is rude. I had to slap Black Hawk because he just was so overt about it.
Black Hawk got mad at me for slapping him because he thinks being the Emperor allows him to stare at me like I am his property. He gave me some guy to slap if he got out of line again, which meant, in less than a minute, I had to slap the guy so much I felt bad. Since I am a pacifist, I made a mirage so the guy felt good when I slapped him. It is not violent if they like it.
I wish Jimmy the Cricket Ichigo would protect my honor as vehemently as he tells Black Hawk not to repossess commoners' possessions for the crown.
In fact, he lectured Black Hawk and me so much about Black Hawk stealing. I tried to explain it is not stealing for the Emperor, because he owns everything. There is no reasoning with Ichigo though. He thinks it is OK to kill people, eat meat, and take things from those you defeat in combat but gives the Emperor the hardest time about the smallest of things.
Oh in other news, Black Hawk started to conquer Shimmerbolt. He was going to do it the old-fashioned way, but he decided to, instead, to appoint a local as his warlord to command his legion of troops on flying mountains he summoned to Shimmerbolt. He appointed a barkeep, who is related to Trilby and had much in common with Black Hawk's floating mountains. I thought I was going to need to slap the slapping boy with how Black Hawk keep staring at her. She always seemed to be standing, looking over her shoulder at us whenever we went to talk to her. She is pretty and all, so I am sure she is nice, but besides her knowledge in the day-to-day dealings with floating mountains and inner workings of Shimmerbolt, I just don't know. Black Hawk even gave her Achilles to use as she needed.
Black Hawk had us wait for 6 days while Trilby made some of his troops even tougher. I used the time to make some armor for the group and a couple things for myself. I also used the time to bathe Tigress and Shakira doll in the Grace of the Cup.
Oh I also arranged for Duck to get super Duck powers. Everybody gave me a hard time about giving Duck a gift, but Duck. I think everybody likes to pick on me because I am a gypsy girl. I am always nice, listen to orders, and am a pacifist, but somehow I am always the bad girl in the group.
Eventually, we left Shimmerbolt by flying in our rat-infested haunted house through the gate to Toverwald and then on to see Trilby 's mom. Ichigo wanted to give the Unseele souls before killing them and taking the Tempest Stone from them, or something like that. I was against the plan, because I think killing people is bad. I suggested that we give special soul-granting water from the cup to Trilby's mom so she could distribute the water subtly and avoid conflict since Trilby's mom was a member of the court and would not attract attention.
Trilby's mom agreed to the plan, and I made her a talking glass, so she could contact us if needed.
We spent the rest of the evening talking to Trilby's mom about the remaining planets and the sons of Adam.
I think Black Hawk should try to marry Trilby's mom. It would be a great political marriage and help cement the Unseele Court's support.
Need to run, I have a wedding to plan.
