If you wish to start at the beginning, it is here.
Dear Diary,
Today, we started our quest for the Holy Grail.
It took us forever to get going because Black Hawk and Ichigo kept interrupting the party we were having right before we were to leave. I am sure we could have been on our way quicker if they had not been dragging their feet.
Trilby was beautiful in a gown that looked like the night sky. It even shown with starlight! It was the first time I ever saw her in something other than her battle bikini. She looked really good, and I am sure others noticed, too.
My boyfriend really outdid himself by bringing me a silk dress spun from the silk of moon moths. Not only did it look beautiful, it sounded beautiful because chimed as I moved. While not the style I would normally wear for dancing, I think it would work well, and I can make music with my hips.
While at the party, my dad said we needed to do something to be prepared for an attack before we departed Titan. He said the forces after him would come the moment we left the protected world.
While my dad danced with dinosaurs, I made a doll of mom and dad. The dolls I made looked really good, but dad added a litle extra umph to make them look even better.
I cloaked the dolls under a mirage of ducks to keep them safe for a short while and sent them to go visit Count Bartholemew. Once near Count Bartholemew, I had the Duck Mirages run off, and Dad had his special surprise take effect, which made the dolls of them have some of his and mom's essence. Almost immediately in the yard of Count Bartholemew, the vulture demon that was not Vulturiel attacked. At the same time, the ground split open, and the hoardes of Hell poured forth. Then a giant deer showed up that was so big that his antlers were a hurricane. There was a battle of biblical proportions, right on Bartholemew’s house, just as I planned. Needless to say, Count Bartholemew’s house did not fair well being at ground zero of such terrible forces.
I am a little sad, because doll mom and dad were captured, but it all went as planned. Doll mom and dad were returned to prison, giving my mom and dad a bit more breathing room. In addition, Count Bartholemew suffered yet another major blow, and we are not connected to it at all.
Black Hawk was so impressed with how things turned out, he called me a genius. I am so happy that I impressed Black Hawk. He is an expert in impressiveness, so it means a lot to me that he thought I did something impressive. I am glad I was able to solve the problem without violence, too.
The Fox came with me to the party. I had him looking like George Clooney, wearing a mirage I made for him. He is funny and a great dancer, but I had to keep reminding him of the rules on what was proper. I know he is a bit bad; but I had a lot of fun, and he’s so cute.
Once the party was over, we took a glass from my castle to Chartres. Trilby seemed to be really liking dressing up and wanted to talk about what dress she should wear on the adventure. It was very exciting, and I made her 2000 dresses with the wave of my hand for her to try on. It was really hard though to get her to try on things because Black Hawk, Ichigo, and some priest that showed up were talking and interrupting us.
Trilby couldn’t make up her mind from the mountain of dresses, so I made her a dress that was every dress at once. People looking at it would see one dress with the right eye, a different dress with the left eye, and would remember a third dress from what they saw. To make it even more maddening, it constantly changed so no matter what you saw or remembered, it would always be wrong. Not sure how long that dress will last and if really does what I said it does, since it is impossible to really know, but I bet it is, and that is good enough for me.
A Dame, named Dame Britomart, joined us while I tried to help Trilby. She was pretty but stern. She dressed in armor and carried a sword. I like dresses better, but I suppose armor can be nice, too. I bet her armor is uncomfortable, heavy, and hot. I hope she will come by my room at night and, we can try on dresses and talk about things.
Black Hawk more or less told Dame Britomart that I was one of his 12. He also gave an impressive speech to impress her, and I think it worked. I don’t think Black Hawk liked her as much as he liked the mean pretty valkery because he did not insult the Dame even once.
The Dame said she was a Paladin. She talked about sad things like penance and said angels whisper to her.
I think I am a Paladin because angels whisper to me, too.
I had to keep the Fox in line when I mentioned angels whisper to me. I told her that I have a heavy penance that I must carry. I told her how I have to fend off everybody wanting to marry me because I am so beautiful. After speaking with the Dame, I feel a lot better about having to deal with being so pretty and know I can carry on and be strong.
We have a lot in common and think we will be good friends.
After we finished talking, we took a glass to some world; I think it was Mars or something. I sort of was not paying attention at this point because I was looking at some dresses, but we eventually ended up in Nethercape.
Nethercape is a dark and evil place. It is filled with evil and dark things.
I have to keep this short because the monsters are going to eat us, I think, so I need to be ready.
Love,
Effie
