During the discussion, you briefly talked about the magical school stories, with one about extracurricular activities. Last spring I attempted to do one to enter, but I messed it up - badly.
The story was way too big, so I am chopping it down to the first half, limiting it to the MC's attempt to win at the wizards' school's staff-fighting contest. (Yes, magic is involved.) If that sounds like a good subject for this, I would like to know when you would be looking for submissions.
